Skills Matrix 360 — terms of service
This is an English translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Croatian version prevails.
Service provider: Expertive d.o.o., Bistrac 6, 10430 Samobor, Croatia, OIB (VAT ID) 60220029005 (hereinafter: Expertive).
Client: the company or person that commissions the assessment (in the application: the person commissioning the assessment). The client may also be the person being assessed.
1. What the service is and what it is for
Skills Matrix 360 is a developmental assessment: it shows how a person sees themselves, how the people they work with see them, and how far this is from what their role requires. It serves exclusively personal and professional development. It must not be used for decisions on pay, promotion, transfer or termination of employment. It is not a psychometric test, a personality test or a selection tool.
2. What is included
- a choice of 10 competencies from a list of 21, tailored to the person’s role and challenges;
- a self-assessment by the person being assessed;
- an assessment by 3 to 10 raters (manager, peers, direct reports, others);
- a personal review of the results: each assessment is personally reviewed and interpreted by Miroslav Klepač (hereinafter: the coach) — all responses, differences between groups and raters’ comments — and on that basis he prepares a draft report;
- an assessment interview with the coach, lasting 60 minutes in total — with the assessed person and/or the client, together or separately;
- a final report with the coach’s personal assessment and recommendations, after the interview.
3. Process and timelines
- The client enters the data, chooses the competencies and enters the raters. Expertive then sends access details to the assessed person and invitations to the raters.
- Raters have 10 working days. A reminder is sent on the 5th and 7th working day. After 10 working days the assessment closes; if a group or competency does not have enough responses, the report states this.
- We send the draft report and a proposed interview date within 3 working days of the assessment closing.
- The whole process typically takes 3 to 21 days, depending on how quickly raters respond and on availability. For more urgent assessments, write to miroslav.klepac@expertive.hr.
4. Who sees what
- The report (draft and final) is received by the assessed person and the client. It contains the self-assessment, the manager’s rating, aggregated ratings of the other groups, the expected level for the role, patterns, a development plan, messages from raters (see below) and the coach’s personal assessment and comments.
- Peers and direct reports are shown as a separate group when at least two people respond; otherwise they are included only in the overall rating of others. We do not show combinations of averages from which an individual’s rating could be calculated. The group “others” is never shown separately.
- The manager’s rating is shown separately and is not anonymous — this is also stated in the instructions to the rater.
- Only Expertive sees individual raters’ responses and their comments intended for the coach. Comments for the coach help the coach understand the full picture. They do not go directly into the report, and sources and quotes are not used in the report.
- Messages from raters. At the end of the questionnaire, a rater may write a message to the person being assessed, with a clear advance notice that it will be read by the assessed person and the client. Messages are included in the report verbatim, without names and without a group label (except the manager’s message), after the coach has removed details that could identify the author or replaced them with […].
- The list of raters is not provided by Expertive to the assessed person; the client may share it at its own discretion.
5. Client obligations
The client enters accurate data, informs the assessed person about the assessment and its purpose before it starts, and guarantees that it may provide Expertive with the names and e-mail addresses of the raters for the purpose of sending invitations.
6. Price and payment
- The price of one assessment is EUR 750, plus VAT. We offer a discount for several assessments by agreement.
- An invoice is issued once a month for assessments for which access details were sent in that month, payable within 15 days.
7. Cancellation
An order may be cancelled free of charge until the access details have been sent to the assessed person. After that, the full price is charged, regardless of whether the assessed person or the raters have completed the questionnaire. If the questionnaires have not been fully completed, the report is prepared on the basis of the data entered, with the limitations stated.
8. Personal data protection
- Expertive processes the data of the client, the assessed person and the raters solely for the purpose of delivering this service.
- To prepare the draft report we use an artificial intelligence tool, only on an anonymised summary — without names of people or the name of the organisation.
- Data is kept for 24 months after the assessment is completed and then deleted. Invoices are kept in accordance with accounting regulations.
- Any person may request access to, correction or deletion of their data at miroslav.klepac@expertive.hr. At the client’s request, we conclude a data processing agreement.
9. Other
- The report is intended for the internal use of the client and the assessed person. The methodology, statements and patterns are the property of Expertive.
- The result of the assessment is a picture of perception at a given moment, not a judgement of a person’s worth; Expertive is not liable for decisions the client makes contrary to point 1.
- The law of the Republic of Croatia applies; disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the court at Expertive’s registered seat.
